Data Science - Subject Matter Expert Intern (Remote)

Are you passionate about education and looking to work in an agile start-up environment that is building to provide world-class education to learners?

The platform content team is seeking Data Science SME who is passionate about driving innovation at scale and solving learner's issues through content creation.

As an intern, you will be expected to be hands-on and routinely exercise independent judgment in delivering new Data Science / Machine Learning content.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating content on Data Science subject matter
  • Framing questions for learners
  • Adhering to all the guidelines and instructions
  • Maintaining daily minimum count of articles
  • Ensuring quality in their work
  • Delivering the content on a daily basis

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Passion for data science & delivering data-driven outcomes
  • Extensive knowledge of statistics, mathematics, algorithms, and programming languages
  • Knowledge of Python or R
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Deep understanding of Machine Learning concepts and tools
  • Able to work independently

Education:

1st year complete or 2nd-year master’s student in a highly quantitative field (Computer Science, Machine Learning, Operational Research, Statistics, Mathematics, etc.)

OR

Working professional having 0 - 2 years of experience in Non-Data Science jobs and having a keen interest in Data Science with some certifications.

The ideal candidate:

  • Strong command of English, both written and verbal
  • Strong interest in data science and online education
  • Understand SEO
  • Python or R user
  • Extremely organized and process-oriented
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Available immediately for a minimum of 2 months
